James Stoler Wins on Guntersville 
 

From Division 29, Alabama.   James Stoler  of Guntersville, Al is one step closer to the 2017 ABA National Championship with a 1st Place win during the RAM American Fishing Tour bass tournament held at Lake Guntersville on the 1st of July 2017.  James caught five bass weighing in at 19 lbs, and big fish with a 4.80 largemouth.   James revealed his fish came shallow using a flipping technique.  Finishing in second place was Tony Tidwell with 14.80 lbs.  Tony used a variety of lures including his secret jig.  Larry Laney unhappily came in 3rd with13.08 lbs. 14 anglers competed in this event, with 6 limits brought to the scales.

Larry Laney Wins on Lake Guntersville

Larry Laney of Bryant, Alabama is one step closer to the 2017 ABA National Championship with a first place win during the Ram AFT D29 event held at Lake Guntersville on the 15th of April. Larry caught one of the three limits brought to the scales on this increasingly stingy fishery. His weight of 15.70 pounds was anchored by the biggest bass of the day, a 6.46 pound hawg! Larry used reaction baits to catch fish throughout the day.

Larry Laney of Bryant, Alabama, is one step closer to the 2017 ABA National Championship with a first place win during the AFT D29 Alabama North event held on Lake Guntersville on December 31, 2016. Larry caught a five bass limit weighing 18.58 pounds.

James Stoler Wins Lake Guntersville

From Division 29, Alabama North James Stoler of Decatur, Alabama is one step closer to the 2017 ABA National Championship with a first place win during the Ram AFT event held on Lake Guntersville on October 29th. James caught a five bass limit weighing 14.01 pounds and won the big fish money with a 4.55 pound Largemouth. James credited flipping and a spinnerbait after lunch for his success.

Thompson Tops Lake Guntersville Crew

Joe Thompson of Grant, Alabama is one step closer to the 2017 ABA National Championship with a First Place win during the AFT D29 event held on Lake Guntersville on the 3rd of September. Joe’s five bass limit weighed in at 16.24 pounds. Joe said he had found this group of fish a month ago and they are still holding up for him.

Laney Wins Championship on Guntersville

Larry Laney of Brant, Alabama won the AFT D29 Divisional Championship held on August 6th and 7th out of Lake Guntersville. Larry caught ten bass weighing 37.80 pounds. Larry credited a spinnerbait, worm, and flipping heavy weeds for the victory.

From division 29, Alabama North, Tony Tidwell of Horton, Alabama wins Lake Guntersville event with 19.97 pounds on June 25th. Tony caught most of his fish shallow, using a jig.

From Division 29, Alabama North 21 May 2016  Ken Draskovic of Scottsboro, Alabama wins Lake Guntersville event with 15.29 pounds. Ken used a crankbait for the majority of his limit and also credits his Co-angler for recommending use of a jig to finish it off.

Joey Shelton Wins On Lake Wheeler

From the Ram American Fishing Tour Division 29, Alabama North April 23rd, Joey Shelton wins Lake Wheeler event with 13 pounds.  Joey located some deeper fish using finesse tactics to secure his victory.  The stringer contained smallmouth, spotted, and largemouth bass, including a 4.06-pound fish to win the big bass pot.  Fourteen anglers applied their skills on a very tough day with only five limits being caught.  Water level was at full pool.

Bill Darby Wins on Lake Guntersville

Bill Darby is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win during the RAM American Fishing Tour Division 29, Alabama North, bass tournament held on January 9th at Lake Guntersville.  Darby's four fish were caught deep, weighing a whopping 18.26 pounds to beat out 23 other anglers. Mike Garlen Rat-L-Trapped a close second with 18.18 pounds. Rick Armstrong finished third and Tony Tidwell cashed the final check and caught a largemouth exceeding six pounds for fourth place and the biggest fish of the day.

Tony Tidwell Crushes Competition on Lake Guntersville

Tony Tidwell is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win and big fish award during the Ram American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Lake Guntersville, December 26th. Tony’s five bass limit weighed in at 22.79 pounds with big bass at 5.08 pounds. Ken Draskovic placed second with 14.69 pounds, and third place was Jim Holsenback with 13.89 pounds.

Ken Draskovic of Scottsboro, AL  is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Ram American Fishing Tour Alabama North division 29 bass tournament held on Lake Wheeler November 7th, 2015. Ken’s limit weighed in at 13.01 pounds.  Big Bass was awarded to David Dennis for catching a 5.59 pound largemouth
