Phillip of Saluda, South Carolina won the Ram AFT South Carolina D96 1-day qualifier event held December 4, 2016 on Lake Russell, running out of the Hwy 72 Ramp near Calhoun Falls, South Carolina. Phillip caught five fish weighing 11.59 pounds. He caught his fish with a jig fishing rocks and a spinnerbait on the upper part of the lake. Phillip won first place and first place option for a total of $466.

Sean Anderson of Leesville, South Carolina won the Ram AFT South Carolina D96 1-day qualifier event held November 6, 2016, on Lake Greenwood running out of Greenwood State Park near Ninety Six, SC. Sean Anderson caught five fish weighing 12.94 pounds all on spinnerbaits. Sean was fishing the middle part of the lake. Sean won first place and first place option for a total of $770.

Price Wins on Clarks Hill

Carlton Price of Leesville, South Carolina came in first place for the AFT D96 event on October 2nd out of Clarks Hill. Carlton caught five fish weighing 14.95 pounds which included a 5.02 pound kicker. Carlton fished the upper part of the lake and caught all his fish on a Carolina Rig off points and laydowns. Carlton won a total of $704 for his efforts.

Wicker Wins on Lake Murray

Steve Wicker of Pomaria, South Carolina won the Ram American Fishing Tour South Carolina D96 1-day qualifier event held September 18th on Lake Murray running out of Dreher Island State Park near Prosperity, SC. Steve caught four fish with a total weight of 14.90 pounds. This also included the event Big Fish weighing 4.70 pounds. Steve walked away with a total of $1,044 for this efforts.

Lake Wins on Greenwood

Andy Lake of Batesburg, South Carolina won the AFT  South Carolina D96 1-day qualifier event for the 2017 season held August 21, 2016 on Lake Greenwood running out of Greenwood State Park near Ninety Six, South Carolina. Andy caught four fish weighing 7.90 pounds. He fished the upper part of the lake and caught his fish on soft plastic worms by flipping docks in 3 to 5 feet of water. Andy took home $825 for first place and first place option.

Keisler Wins First Event For 2017 Season on Murray

Toby Keisler of Lexington, South Carolina won the AFT South Carolina Division tournament held July 10, 2016 on Lake Murray out of Dreher Island State Park near Prosperity, SC. Toby caught a five fish limit weighing 16.04 pounds. He fished the lower part of the lake and caught his fish on topwater baits. Toby took home $750 for first place.

Mollohan Tops the Field at the Ram AFT D96 Championship on Clarks Hill


Matt Mollohan of Lexington, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers, South Carolina Division 96 Two-Day Championship tournament held May 21-22, 2016 on Clarks Hill Lake out of the Dorn Facility near McCormick, SC.
 
First place, Matt Mollohan of Lexington, SC caught a 10 fish limit weighing 23.64 pounds. Matt has always been consistent but all year has finished just out of the money at our one-day qualifiers. That consistency on both days gave him the biggest win for this Division 96 season. Matt took home $1124 for first place and the day one first place option.

Bobby Stanfill of Greenwood, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers, South Carolina Division 96 tournament, held April 10, 2016, on Lake Murray running out of Dreher Island State Park near Prosperity, SC. Stanfill was fishing the lower part of the lake. He caught his fish on topwater baits.  Bobby’s five fish weighed in at 22.85 pounds with a kicker of 6.44 pounds won first place and first place option pot for a total of $806.

Bobby Stanfill of Greenwood, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, South Carolina Division 96 one-day qualifier tournament, held March 20, 2016, on Clarks Hill Lake running out of Dorn Facility near McCormick, SC. Fishing the upper part of the lake, Bobby Stanfill of Greenwood, SC, caught his fish on jigs and spinnerbaits in shallow water. The tournament big fish came in on the spinnerbait and weighed 5.89 pounds. Bobby’s five fish totaled 23.47 pounds to win first place, first place option and Big Bass for a total of $995.

Phillip Anderson of Saluda, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers, South Carolina Division 96 one-day qualifier tournament, held February 28, 2016, on Lake Murray running out of Dreher Island State Park near Prosperity, SC. Phillip Anderson was fishing the middle part of the lake. He caught his fish on bladed jigs and spinnerbaits in shallow water. Phillip’s five fish weighing 16.59 pounds won first place and first place option pot for a total of $760.

Steve Christie of Gray Court, SC finished in second place fishing the middle part of the lake in the Buffalo Creek area and caught his fish on shad raps and lipless crank baits. Steve’s five fish weighing 15.68 pounds won $389.

Andy Lake Solves the High Muddy Water Bite on Lake Greenwood

Andy Lake of Batesburg, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, South Carolina Division 96 tournament held January 3, 2016, on Lake Greenwood running out of Greenwood State Park near Ninety Six, SC. Fishing the middle of the lake, Andy, caught his fish on jigs and spinnerbaits in shallow water. Andy also took home the tournament big fish with a 6.23 pound largemouth, catching it on a jig. Andy’s five fish, weighing in at 19.35 pounds, won first place, the big fish pot and the first place option pot for a total of $900.

Gene Parker Wins with the Deep Bite on Lake Russell

 
Gene Parker of Asheville, NC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers, South Carolina Division 96 one day qualifier tournament held December 6, 2015, on Lake Russell running out of the Hwy 72 Ramp near Calhoun Falls, SC.
 
Our winner, Gene Parker, was fishing the middle part of the lake. He caught all his fish on a spoon in about 50 feet of water. Gene also took that 5.61 pound tournament big fish from the 50 foot depth. Gene took home $804 for his first place finish, option pot and big fish pot.

Franklin Ramey of Abbeville, SC won the Ram American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers, South Carolina Division 96 tournament, for the 2016 AFT season held on September 20, 2015, at Clarks Hill Lake running out of the Dorn Boating Facility near McCormick, SC.

First place, Franklin Ramey had five fish weighing 12.45 pounds for the win. His first place finish and option pot earned him a payback of $492.
