Charlie Jutras Wins on Congamond Lake

Charlie Jutras won the RAM American Fishing Tour Division 97 tournament held July 12, 2015, on Congamond Lake in Southwick, Mass.

Charlie managed to catch five bass weighing 16.53 pounds on a hot, humid day on a lake filled with pleasure boaters. For the victory, Charlie took home a check for $376.  His fish were caught in a variety of ways, but deep cranking seemed to get his best fish.

In second among the competitors, was Al Gagliarducci who caught five bass weighing 13.23 pounds including the big fish of the day, a 4.13 pound largemouth.

The top 5 were:

Charlie Jutras              5          15.53

Al Gagliarducci           5          13.23

Dan Taylor                  5          12.62

Jesse Melanson         4           8.81

Shane Stout                4          7.85

Air temps were in the 80's with high humidity.

These anglers accrued valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual RAM American Fishing Tour National Championship on Lake Hartwell.

The next divisional tournament will be held 7/26/2015 on Wampanoag lake.  Tournament hours are 0600 - 1400.
