Welcome to the American Fishing Tour

Tim Brecht Wins Division 97 Two-Day Championship

Tim Brecht won the American Bass Anglers Ram American Fishing Tour Division 97 Two-Day Championship held August 15-16, 2015 on the Connecticut River in Massachusetts. After Day One, Tim was in fourth place, 5.52 pounds behind the leader. Day Two brought some changes in the leader board with the Day One leader not bringing any fish to the scales, while Tim managed a solid five fish limit that included a 5.97 pound kicker that allowed Tim to weigh 4.64 more pounds than the Day Two second place angler. Tim's Two Day weight was 20.38 pounds. For his efforts, Tim took home a check for $752, as well as, the title of Division 97 Angler of the Year.

This was Tim’s fifth win of the 2015 season, tying the division's record for most wins in a season.

Second place went to Mark Schultz who took home a check for $326 for his 18.65 pounds of bass.

Both days were hot and humid with little wind and plenty of pleasure boat traffic.  Tim's fish were all caught in five feet of water or less on a weightless Senko.

The top five were:

Tim Brecht                  20.38

Mark Schultz               18.65

Al Gagliarducci           18.45

Jon Spink                    13.62

Jesse Via                    12.36
