Bogaosain Wins New Jersey Event

Lucas "Bogo" Bogosain won the Ram American Fishing Tour New Jersey Division 10 tournament held on September 26, 2015 at Greenwood Lake.  Division 10 was running out of Small Craft Marina in Hewitt, NJ.

Lucas "Bogo" Bogosain of Harrington Park, NJ caught five bass weighing 10.46 pounds with a 3.59 pound kicker largemouth. For the victory, Bogosain took home a check for $406.00 plus $70.00 for the optional Big Bass pot. Lucas caught his fish with a variety of techniques, however, he was using Venom Lures and Hi Seas line.  Lucas is a Collegiate Angler at Centenary College studying Communications and is planning on fishing all three Northern Opens in 2016.

In second among the competitors, Al Pallavincini of Ringwood, NJ caught 9.92 pounds of bass flipping docks and pocketed a check for $200.

Derrell Downey Sr. has finished just one place out of the money too many times to count. Finally we were able to pay Derrell $79.00 for a third place finish with 7.79 pounds of bass.

Next Event for the New Jersey Division 10 is a one day 2016 Divisional Qualifier on Lake Hopatcong out of Lee’'s Park Marina, on October 4, 2015.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship. 

The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship scheduled for this fall on Lake Hartwell Anderson,SC.
