Doug Orazine Wins on Weiss Lake
From Division 88, Alabama East/Central, Doug Orazine of Springville, Alabama is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Weiss Lake the 4th of June 2016. Doug caught his limit flipping bank grass and hard cover with heavy equipment. Doug’s weight of 10.11 pounds secured the victory.
Second place with 9.46 pounds was taken by Charles Anderson. Charles used a buzzbait for his significant catches.
Alvin Parish took big fish honors for the second tournament in a row. Alvin used a jig to catch a 4.07 pound largemouth.
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in this division’s two-day championship and the American Fishing Tour National Championship that will be held this fall at Lake Eufaula. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.
