Jason Burroughs wins on Lake Hartwell
Eighteen anglers fished the D25 AFT tournament at Lake Hartwell. Fishing is still off a little as the water temperatures remain in the mid 70’s. As the water cools the bite should get better in the coming weeks.
Jason Burroughs of Hodges, SC took the win with a limit weighing in at 15.63lbs. Jason reported catching fish on top water baits. Jason earned $500 for 1st Place + $102 for 1st Place in the Option Pot for total earnings of $602.
Todd Pearson of Anderson, SC came in 2nd Place with a limit weighing 14.35lbs. Todd reported catching some of his fish around brush piles. Todd earned $288 for 2nd Place + $68 for 2nd Place in the Option Pot for total earnings of $356.
Tracy Webb of Elberton, GA finished in 3rd Place with a limit weighing 13.56lbs. Tracy also had Big Fish of the tournament with a 5.52lb largemouth. Tracy earned $94 for 3rd Place + $90 for the Big Fish Pot for total earnings of $184.
Rick Cantrell of Anderson, SC finished in 4th Place with 12.53lbs.
Rounding out the top five was Scott McLamb of Blythewood, SC with 9.75lbs.
The next event for Division 25 will be November 19th, 2017 on Lake Russel, launching from the Hwy 72 ramp.

These anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
