Welcome to the American Fishing Tour

Trent Hill Takes the win on Seminole

Trent Hill from Sneads, FL is one step closer to the  American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the American Fishing Tour Seminole Division 114 bass tournament held on Lake Seminole January 7, 2018. Trent’s limit weighed in at 28.99 pounds.  Big Bass was awarded to Allen "Lee" Mcvay for catching a 8.25 pound largemouth bass.

These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in to the  American Fishing Tour National Championship. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

The top six anglers were:
1. Trent Hill                  28.99 lbs.
2. Steve Phillips           28.68 lbs.
3. Doug Davis              27.28 lbs.
4. Allen "Lee" McVay   25.85 lbs.
5. John Adams            24.59 lbs.
6. Rich Tindell             23.54 lbs.

Conditions: Cold start of 24 high of 48 for the day and the wind was 10 NE. Waters temperatures were in the high 40's.  Water was clear.

Winning Strategy: Didn’t get Trent’s pattern, but the first 7 places all were in the mid to high 20#! Big fish bit today!
