Ohio Division To Open Season On Indian Lake
ATHENS, Ala. – The Ohio Division of the American Bass Anglers Open Series Will hold its first event of the season on 5/12/2018 on Indian Lake.
The competitors will launch from Moundwood state park located at 12774 SR 235 N. Lakeview, Ohio 43331. Anglers will begin fishing at 6:30 am until 2:30 pm.
Registration will be at the ABA stage trailer on Friday 5/11/2018 at Moundwood State Park. Registration will run from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM with the pairings meeting to follow at 7:00 pm.
Anglers holding a Freedom pass must text or call 256-497-0967 Friday 5/11/2018 to confirm you are fishing the event.
To enter, anglers fishing the boater division pay $200.00 per single day events with the co-anglers paying $100.00 for the single day events. The first place boater is guaranteed a minimum of $5000.00.
Anglers fishing the boater division may weigh in up to five bass and the co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
All anglers fishing the event must sign a liability release form. If you areholding a Freedom Pass you must sign the release form prior to launch on Saturday.
All competitors are required to have a valid Ohio fishing license in their possession.
Boaters are required to have a minimum of $100,000.00 liability insurance on the boat you are operating and must be in your possession.
